📍 Location: Hybrid (King of Prussia, PA or Tampa, FL)
💻 Visa: U.S. Citizens or Green Card Holders only
🔄 Full-time Conversion: After 6 months
We are supporting a well-established enterprise in their search for a Hybrid Java/Azure Developer to modernize and migrate legacy applications to the cloud. The role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, 50% focused on hands-on Java development and 50% on cloud architecture and solutioning within Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java and the Spring framework
Contribute to on-prem to Azure migration efforts and cloud modernization projects
Collaborate with teams to architect secure, scalable, and cost-effective Azure solutions
Work with Azure Admins and Solution Architects on RBAC, permissions, and governance best practices
Continuously evaluate and experiment with new Azure services and capabilities
Required Skills:
3+ years in Java development with backend-focused responsibilities
3+ years working with Azure cloud solutions
Experience with container tools like Kubernetes or OpenShift
Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka and Event Grid
Basic proficiency in Python is a plus
Bonus Points:
Azure Certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Developer Associate)
Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Synapse Analytics
Salary:
$118K base + potential sign-on bonus and annual increases upon conversion
