We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with strong integration testing expertise to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mainframe development, as well as a solid understanding of integration testing processes and methodologies.
This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure seamless integration and functionality of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and MQ.
Conduct system analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation of complex programs.
Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform integration testing to ensure the seamless operation of mainframe applications with other systems.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for integration testing.
Identify, analyze, and resolve defects and issues during the testing phase.
Support data analysis, data migration, and rule mining, including the conversion of legacy code.
Write scripts for data cleansing, formatting, and transformation.
Coordinate with offshore teams to manage assignments, deliverables, and quality reviews.
Ensure compliance with security and operational readiness standards for new system implementations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a mainframe developer with expertise in COBOL, DB2, JCL, and MQ.
Strong knowledge of integration testing methodologies and tools.
Experience with data analysis, data migration, and rule mining.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with open systems technology such as SQL Server, SSIS, or other ETL tools.
Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops, roles/security, and access management.
Familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce or other SaaS payroll systems.
