Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Java Microservices Backend Developer with expertise in Java Microservices, Reactive Java programming, Kafka, MongoDB, Spring Boot, and modern development frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of microservices architecture, backend and frontend development, and familiarity with modern observability and AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Reactive Java principles.
Build and maintain robust and reusable RESTful APIs and event-driven systems using Kafka.
Integrate backend services with MongoDB, Elastic Search, and other NoSQL data stores.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with JUnit 5 and follow TDD/BDD practices.
Develop user-facing features using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, MFE, SPA).
Participate in architecture and design discussions, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance.
Leverage the Orchestrator Framework for service coordination and integration.
Monitor and troubleshoot applications using Splunk and Elastic Search for observability and log analytics.
Collaborate closely with DevOps, QA, and product teams for CI/CD and agile delivery.
Stay updated with evolving Gen AI trends and contribute ideas where AI integration adds business value.
Required Skills:
Strong programming skills in Java, with hands-on experience in Reactive Java (e.g., Reactor, RxJava).
Experience with Spring Framework, particularly Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, and Spring Data.
Proficient in Apache Kafka – stream processing, producers/consumers, and Kafka Streams.
Experience with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Orchestrator Frameworks (e.g., Camunda, Netflix Conductor, or internal orchestration tools).
Solid understanding of unit testing and integration testing using JUnit 5 and mocking frameworks.
Familiar with REST APIs, JSON, and API design best practices.
Experience with Elastic Search and Splunk for logs and metrics.
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Familiarity with Gen AI (e.g., prompt engineering, AI APIs, ML models) is a strong plus.
Experience in full stack development with frontend technologies (ReactJS).
Knowledge of cloud platforms ( Azure, GCP).
Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Should be self-starter and ability to work cohesively in a dynamic fast paced environment
