Job Details:
We are seeking an experienced “Mainframe ADABAS & Natural Developer” to join our team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of hands-on experience working with ADABAS and Natural on mainframe platforms. This role demands in-depth knowledge and expertise in these technologies to support and enhance our mainframe systems.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and maintain applications using ADABAS and Natural in a mainframe environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Optimize and tune existing ADABAS databases to improve performance and efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ADABAS and Natural application, ensuring minimal downtime.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers on the team.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all developed applications.
Support migration efforts, where applicable and ensure smooth transitions of data and applications.
Required Skills:
10+ years of experience working with ADABAS and Natural on Mainframe platforms
Proficiency in ADABAS (Mandatory)
Strong knowledge on Natural programming language.
Experience with JCL, TSO/TSPF, and other mainframe tools.
Experience in the airline industry is an added advantage.
