Mechanical Design Engineer
Grenada, MS(Day One Onsite)
Job Summary: Senior engineer will be responsible for designing HVAC system with new refrigerant and qualifying the same according to applicable regulations for US market.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with offshore engineering teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
Redesign air conditioning units for new refrigerant for US market.
Conduct detailed engineering analysis, including thermal and structural simulations, to validate design changes.
Lead NPI/NPD reviews and secure all necessary approvals on the project
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred (Thermal/HVAC).
Preference will be given to candidates with ASHRAE certification
Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably in the HVAC industry.
Proven experience in coordinating with offshore teams and managing complex engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of US standards and regulations for HVAC systems.
Expertise in refrigerant systems and experience with environmental friendly refrigerants.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
