Responsibilities:
Design, implement, troubleshoot, and manage routing and switching of Enterprise Customers’ terrestrial networks.
Ensure the secure transmission of network traffic through network nodes.
Work on different vendors like Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, Velcloud, Cradlepoint products to build and manage Customer networks.
Configure and support Enterprise Customers’ routers and switches with networking protocols to ensure seamless communication among network devices.
Work on Windows and Linux servers to troubleshoot network issues and to analyze network performance.
Use Python Programming Language for config management in cloudify orchestration system and use Python to automate processes.
Requirements:
MS degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field and 2-3 years’ experience in Customer Network Engineering, or
BS degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field plus 5 years’ experience in Customer Network Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
CCNP or Fortinet certification
Python Programming Language
Experience working on data networking protocols and telecommunications
