Job Description:

Responsible for guiding and supporting the cross-functional teams in the implementation of Agile methodologies, ensuring continuous improvement in team performance, and delivering high-quality products on time.
This Agile Leader will foster collaboration, enhance Agile processes, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Process Facilitation: Lead and coach teams in Agile practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and other relevant frameworks. Ensure teams understand and follow Agile principles and ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews).
Collaboration & Communication: Act as the liaison between stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to ensure clear communication, manage expectations, and align objectives.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with the team to implement best practices, improving team efficiency and product quality.
Team Development: Mentor and guide team members in Agile practices, fostering a collaborative, self-organizing, and high-performing team culture.
Metrics & Reporting: Track team performance through key Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, etc.) and provide regular updates to leadership on project progress, risks, and improvements.
Risk Management & Problem Solving: Identify, communicate, and manage project risks and blockers, working with the team and leadership to develop mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work with business stakeholders to ensure Agile teams understand business priorities, deliverables, and timelines.

Release Train Engineer (RTE):

Responsible for overseeing the delivery of large-scale, complex software products through the coordination and management of multiple Agile teams within an Agile Release Train (ART).
The RTE ensures that all teams work in sync, meet delivery timelines, and adhere to Agile practices, while facilitating continuous improvement in processes.
The role requires collaboration with stakeholders, Agile leaders, and product owners to ensure successful and timely releases.

Key Deliverables:

Release Train Coordination: Manage the end-to-end process of the Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring multiple Agile teams work in alignment to achieve project goals, deadlines, and quality standards.
Program Increment (PI) Planning: Facilitate PI planning sessions, ensuring alignment between teams, stakeholders, and business objectives. Help teams define deliverables and goals for each PI.
Team Collaboration: Act as a liaison between multiple Agile teams, stakeholders, and leadership, fostering open communication and ensuring smooth coordination for successful delivery.
Risk Management: Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact the delivery of the release, ensuring that the ART can resolve blockers quickly and effectively.
Continuous Improvement: Drive the continuous improvement of Agile processes within the ART. Facilitate retrospectives and process reviews, encouraging teams to improve their workflows and delivery methods.
Metrics and Reporting: Track ART progress through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as velocity, release cadence, and quality metrics. Provide regular updates to leadership on the ART’s progress, challenges, and improvements.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate regularly with business stakeholders, product owners, and other leadership to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and scope changes.
Team Leadership: Support Scrum Masters and Agile teams by coaching and providing guidance on Agile principles, practices, and ceremonies. Ensure that teams remain focused on achieving their objectives and meeting commitments.
Release Management: Oversee the coordination of releases, ensuring that product features are integrated, tested, and delivered on time with minimal disruption.

Qualifications:

Candidate must have 5+ years’ experience.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.
Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) etc.
Must be customer centric focused and possess excellent self-organization skills.
