Description:

The International Trade Solution (GTS) Architect will be responsible for determining integrated system design of required business scenarios and processes with a focus on International Trade Compliance requirements.

Candidate MUST HAVE:

A&D / discrete manufacturing experience. Note: A&D does not equal Public Sector.

Experience as a Value Stream Lead involving a US deployment of an SAP S/4HANA global design with localization in US geography.

Specific SAP component configuration and deployment experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and optimize SAP S/4HANA for Global Trade Solutions to ensure compliance with aerospace customer requirements.

Ensure seamless integration with existing SAP and non-SAP feeder systems, including S/4HANA.

Implement compliance check functionalities such as embargo control, sanctioned party list screening, and legal control checks.

Support SAP GTS in preference determination, customs processing, and compliance with international trade regulations.

Maintain an up-to-date understanding of evolving regulations and apply system adjustments accordingly.

Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting strategies for SAP GTS-related issues.

Integrate with document management systems.

Specific Skills Required:

SAP GTS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP GTS, including integration with S/4HANA, and application areas such as Compliance Management, Customs Management, Preference Management, and Intrastat.

Aerospace Industry Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements with ability to tailor SAP solutions.

Trade Compliance Management: Familiar with documentation and legal controls.

Technical Acumen: Ability to review functional/technical specs and use SAP tools effectively.

Analytical Skills: Capable of assessing trade scenarios and configuring SAP for compliance.

Communication & Collaboration: Excellent skills to work with business, compliance, and technical teams.

Certifications: SAP S/4HANA and SAP GTS certification highly desirable.

Other Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of consulting or equivalent business process experience

At least 5 years of hands-on SAP configuration experience

Completion of at least 3 full life cycle implementations of S/4HANA (v2019 or later)

Experience with rollout and localization of a global template

Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

Willingness to travel as needed to client locations
