Location: Remote
3-4 month contract – Project could extend, but probably won’t go past the end of the year.
Rate: 55-60/hr C2C ideally. Some flex for a Rock star resource
Overview:
Client is modernizing a homegrown financial application using PL/ SQL and are looking to us to help add some velocity to the project to get it completed by September. We are looking to bring on a small team of Sr. PL/SQL Developers to help them hit their completion date.
Tech stack- must have strong recent PL/ SQL experience and Git experience
Client is bringing on 4 developers to add velocity to a modernization project.
Needs to have really good communication

Candidate will be put through a technical screening- PL/ SQL, Git, SQL (developer), and ETL- general
Interview with manager next week. Same day decision.
Responsibilities
Oracle Database Expertise:Manage large Oracle database instances efficiently.
Understand the Oracle privilege model and implement secure coding practices.
Perform table and index partitioning, ensuring optimal performance and maintenance.
Construct and debug complex, multi-CTE (Common Table Expression) queries.
Fine-tune high data-volume queries for optimal performance.
Utilize analytic functions effectively.
Work with dynamic SQL for flexible query execution.
Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL packages.
Version Control and Collaboration:Proficiently use Git for version control and collaborative development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS):Familiarity with Oracle EBS is a plus.
While not required to be a full-fledged DBA, you should have a solid understanding of how the Oracle database works.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a PL/SQL developer or tech lead.
Strong understanding of Oracle databases, including performance optimization and security.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
