Job Description:

The candidate will work on a major system modernization project to build a new Medicaid application. The role involves providing project and product oversight for Medicaid IT-contracted systems, supporting documentation, system enhancements, and ensuring alignment with agency standards for integrated solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

Required (8+ Years):
• Coordinate with vendors to complete projects and service requests
• Develop and review project artifacts (test cases, requirements documentation, traceability, technical specifications)
• Analyze systems, troubleshoot issues, and support solution implementations
• Manage project scope, acceptance, deployment, system integration, and UAT
• Identify risks and design mitigation strategies
• Analyze HHS policies, procedures, and standards and their impact on automated systems

Preferred:
• Experience using TFS for requirements management
• Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments
• Experience with MS Office, SharePoint, and Copilot
• Knowledge of enterprise systems architecture, integrations, and Azure cloud solutions
• Experience with Texas HHSC processes and Texas Medicaid / CHIP systems
• Experience managing state-level major information resource project data
