Must be available to attend onsite meetings in Austin, TX on an as-needed basis
Role Overview

This position primarily supports the Mobile Workforce Management (MWM) system and provides backup support for MDMS as needed. The role requires deep technical ownership of enterprise systems that manage mobile workers, meters, or sensor data and proactive system support for critical production environments.

MWM and MDMS are 24x7x365 critical systems, requiring flexibility for non-traditional work hours.

Key Responsibilities

Upgrade, maintain, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise application systems
Support batch processing, system health monitoring, and performance tuning
Handle large data volumes and complex system integrations
Implement patches, system upgrades, and customer-requested changes
Support disaster recovery, job scheduling, and SDLC environments (DEV / TEST / PROD)
Provide Tier support and incident resolution (ServiceNow knowledge helpful)
Maintain system documentation and support audits and compliance
Participate in onsite meetings in Austin as required
Required Skills & Experience

8+ years supporting critical enterprise application systems
Experience with:
Mobile Workforce Management (MWM), MDMS, or similar large-scale systems
Oracle Database / PL/SQL, system connections
AIX / Linux (Red Hat, SUSE) environments
UNIX navigation and Shell scripting (KornShell preferred)
System upgrades, performance tuning, and health checks
Experience supporting systems with large data volumes and complex interfaces
Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends when required
Preferred Skills

Oracle Mobile Workforce Management (MWM) experience
Landis+Gyr MDMS experience
Knowledge of enterprise technology stacks
WebLogic 12.2 administration
Java, Groovy, JavaScript, Python
API development and support
Report development in complex systems
Application security, keystore management, Java security updates
Strong documentation, communication, and multitasking skills
