Job Description: 
The State of Texas is seeking a highly energetic, proactive, hands-on Operational #AI / #ML Engineer with a strong ownership mindset to join the #Traffic Technology team.
This role focuses on building and deploying real-time #computervision and #trafficvideo analytics solutions to improve #roadwaysafety and operational efficiency across Texas.

Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Computer Vision
Real-time traffic camera video analytics
Building AI models on video data (Traffic Vision Modules)
Object detection & localization in images/videos
Core Tools & Frameworks
OpenCV (image/video processing)
YOLO (or similar object detection frameworks)
TensorFlow and/or PyTorch
Python, SQL
Object Detection Models
YOLO, Faster R-CNN, SSD, RetinaNet
Datasets & Annotation
COCO, ImageNet, custom-labeled datasets
LabelImg, CVAT, Roboflow
Cloud & MLOps (Strongly Required)
AWS (mandatory)
Airflow, MLflow, Kubeflow
Docker & Kubernetes
Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana

 Highly Preferred Experience:
Real-time traffic video analytics
Smart intersections, ITS, or Smart City initiatives
Designing CV pipelines for live video streams
Deploying AI models into production environments
