Job Description:
The activities shall align with the Client’s compliance requirements under federal and state regulations and support the goal of delivering uninterrupted services to children and families. Data management services are required to support data-cleansing efforts for the new case management system.
These services will help establish a robust, secure, and efficient data foundation that enables a smooth transition to the new system. The enhanced system will improve operational efficiencies, decision-making, and data accessibility across DFPS child welfare and adult protection programs while ensuring compliance with CCWIS data quality and confidentiality standards.
The Project Manager will support and oversee all aspects of the data management and system transition initiative. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting the Client in managing the overall project effort.
Identifying risks and issues and developing mitigation strategies.
Monitoring and managing staffing and resource allocations.
Coordinating across technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
Ensuring organizational readiness for the new case management system.
Overseeing planning, budgeting, documentation, and reporting activities.
Managing stakeholder communications at all levels.
Role Summary
As a Project Manager, you will plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of the project. You may work independently or lead cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met. You will facilitate collaboration between executive leadership, business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.
Skills and Qualifications
Required
8 years – Experience managing enterprise-level projects/programs, following industry-standard best practices.
5 years – Experience working independently with minimal supervision; ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
5 years – Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills on data-related projects.
5 years – Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, including executive leadership.
5 years – Advanced interpersonal skills; ability to quickly build effective relationships across all levels.
5 years – Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred
4 years – Experience with child welfare case management systems.
