Job Details:
Role: JavaScript Back End Developer (Scala with Play Framework)
Client: Federal Client
Location: Remote (Washington, DC)

Important Notes:

Minimum 10 years of real-time Java experience
Minimum 2+ years of Scala experience (Play Framework)
Must have experience with AWS, DynamoDB, and Drools
Candidates must have at least 3 years of residence in the USA
Key Skills:

Java (7–10 years – Advanced)
JavaScript (7–10 years – Advanced)
Scala (Play Framework)
REST API Development
AWS (Basic)
Splunk (Basic)
NoSQL (DynamoDB preferred)
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable software systems
Develop Java/Scala-based REST APIs
Work with Business Analysts to identify improvements
Perform unit testing and troubleshoot issues
Support development across environments including production
Preferred Skills:

Functional programming knowledge
Drools, Postman
Agile methodology experience
