Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with 8-10 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios & test cases
Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, system testing)
Identify, report, and track defects using tools like JIRA / Bugzilla
Collaborate with developers and business analysts
Execute test cases and document results
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings
Ensure quality standards are met before release
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC
Hands-on experience in manual testing
Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Good knowledge of test case design techniques
Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
Understanding of API testing (Postman is a plus)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, etc.)
Experience in Agile methodology
Knowledge of performance or security testing basics
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
