Senior Healthcare Data Engineer
Location : NYC, NY (Remote)
Exp : 10+ years Only
(NO PST Profiles)
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement ETL pipelines to extract data from various sources
• Cleanse and transform data to ensure consistency and quality
• Develop stored procedures and views to optimize data access and performance
• Implement data security and access control mechanisms
• Monitor and maintain data pipelines to ensure smooth operation
• Automate data ingestion and processing tasks
Required skills:
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes (AWS Glue)
• Experience with scripting languages (Pyspark, Python, Scala)
• Proficient in SQL and relational database management systems (AWS RDS, Oracle) and DW (Snowflake, Redshift)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Services)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good to have:
Experience with data lakes and big data technologies Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices Knowledge of connecting to and extracting data from salesforce using tools like informatica or salesforce API
