JOB DESCRIPTION:

Required Skill

• Minimum (6+ years exp) with experience with setup and usage of observability pipelines (Vector / Fluent bit skills a big plus, Open Telemetry a plus),
• APMs (Grafana, etc.), and related tools, practical hands‐on knowledge of infrastructure and applications monitoring (Metrics, Logging, Traces) implementation and usage, Linux and Kubernetes skills
• AWS sysop skills, basic scripting skills (Bash, Lua, Python, etc.).
• Setup and manage PAC Virtual Racks and AWS as needed for dev/test. Create integration tests for validation

Additional requirements

3+ years of experience working with Scrum software development processes with rapid iteration cycles (2-3-week sprints)
o Experience with and commitment to key development practices inherent to effective Agile development, including:
§ unit testing
§ capacity planning
§ continuous integration
§ backlog grooming
§ sprint planning
§ regular demonstrations
o Experience working with Agile development tools such as:
§ Jira, Confluence, Git / GitLab / Bitbucket, AWS code commit, Code pipeline
§ CI CD based development
§ Source code repo
§ Build servers.
§ Automation testing tools
§ Static code analysis
o Familiarity with object-oriented and microservices based design and development, including effective use of interfaces.
o Familiarity with Embedded software and Cloud native Architectural design patterns and framework
