Technical Skills Primary
Must have
- One end to end Guidewire cloud implementation for PolicyCenter
- Certified Associate or ACE to work on Cloud project with Knowledge of Test Plan Test Strategy and Test Execution
- Understanding of full testing life cycle right from the requirement gathering to delivery
- Experience testing multi tier web based applications
- Knowledge of various Integration Points for PolicyCenter
- Project management tools like Confluence Jira Rally etc
Technical Skills Secondary – Nice to have NOT MANDATORY
- Knowledge on API SOAP UI Automation
- Integration testing skills validation of XML files
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills Testing Experience
- AINS 21 22 23 24 Certification
- Having ISEB ISTQB Software Testing qualifications would be an added advantage
- Having Knowledge of SQL Database Testing

Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA team in the design development and execution of test plans and test cases for Guidewire PolicyCenter cloud implementations
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand system requirements and integrate quality assurance processes into Guidewire Cloud implementation
- Work in a fast paced cross functional agile Scrum SAFe work environment
- Work with client SME and test manager to define and review test requirements strategy test data implementation plans etc
- Develop and execute test cases scripts plans and procedures manual and automated
- Establish and oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics such as status reports defect metrics and effectively use tools and processes like Jira ALM etc to ensure quality goals are met
- Develop scripts to query databases of data available from Cloud for processing
- Test requirements for “Guidewire Rating” module Rate book rate table rate routines
- Test integrations using tools like SOAP UI Postman Etc
- Review functional specifications developed by BAs in the form of User Stories process flows use cases data mappings leveraging tools such as JIRA Confluence Rally etc
- Conduct user story sprint demonstrations at the end of sprint release
- Participate in agile sprint ceremonies daily stand ups sprint planning reviews and retrospective sessions
- Experience working on automation testing tools like Guidewire GT Framework Selenium UFT RPA tools is an asset
- Exposure to Behaviour driven development BDD testing
Technical Skills
- At least 5 8 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation
- Experience in web service testing tools such as SOAP UI XML JSON POSTMAN
- Experience in testing components like Policy Premium testing Product designer underwriting rules etc
- Proficient in Test Management Tools JIRA HP QC VSTS TFS
- Knowledge of GT Framework Selenium QTP Ranorex Excel Macro using VB Scripting or any other Test Automation Tool
- Awareness of Test Automation and ability to spot points of value in process
- Knowledge of both Manual and Automation testing skills
