Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 13-18 years of experience and will be expected to work independently, reporting directly to key stakeholders within the company. This role requires someone who is comfortable in a high-visibility position and has a strong, comprehensive understanding of DevOps responsibilities.
Required Skills:
Extensive experience with Linux-based systems
Proficiency with GIT, CI/CD, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code
Strong scripting/coding skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C, JavaScript, PHP, Perl, Python, Go)
Expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
Firm grasp of internet, cloud, and network security concepts
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain build and deployment scripts in CI/CD frameworks/tools to automate and streamline deployment processes.
Drive the DevOps team towards automation and deployment best practices.
Collaborate with software architects and development teams to design DevOps processes that align with team goals.
Research, suggest, and implement new technologies, strategies, and solutions to technical issues.
Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation on the DevOps ecosystem.
Optimize application performance through effective monitoring and tuning, ensuring fast response times and user satisfaction.
