ACH Business Analyst Remote

Hi,
ACH Consultant -C2C – REMOTE (Travel for initial 4-6 weeks to NYC. Flexible timeframes and expenses covered.)

Top 3 Must Haves:
1. Core ACH domain knowledge
2. Ability to fully define ACH origination features in detail
3. Using Agile methodology, manage ACH product backlog development

Role and Responsibilities:
Strategic initiative to replace ACH module during a 14month project. Responsibilities range from definition of core ACH Origination features down to the business rules level. Complete definition of backlog to feature/story level. Manage a group of analysts to create a full backlog of the core ACH module and related external and internal integrations.

Experience Level:
- Business Analyst – 6 to 8 years
- 2+ years of using Agile methodologies
- Manage client & analyst teams
- Bachelor’s Degree is required and MBA is preferred

Domain Skills
• Strong understanding of core ACH Origination functions (like credit batch / debit batch / reversal, exception handling / same day ACH / tax payments initiation/ reject & returned & NOC / NACHA file import / SEC codes and their functions etc.)
• Ability to self-define (not gather) detailed requirements for each ACH functions, and specifications for internal and external APIs (DDA / AML / Fraud etc.).
• Expertise in US domestic and/or international payments processes (i.e. SWIFT, ACH (NACHA), Wire transfer (FED/CHIPS) and generic payments industry standards such as ISO 20022)
