Title: Lead Ab Initio Developer
Location: Columbus, OH (Day 1 Onsite)
Long Term Contract Job Summary: - We are seeking an experienced Team Lead with extensive expertise in Ab Initio, particularly the CAIP component, and strong knowledge of AWS migration processes. The ideal candidate will lead the technical team responsible for upgrading Ab Initio from version 3.0 to 4.1 and migrating our on-premises infrastructure to AWS. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of both projects.
Key Responsibilities: - Minimum 7 years of IT Experience in Ab Initio
- Lead the upgrade of Ab Initio from version 3.0 to 4.1, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.
- Drive the migration of on-premises systems to AWS, aligning with cloud architecture best practices.
- Oversee and manage the Ab Initio CAIP component, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the team, ensuring high standards of code quality and project delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and refine project requirements and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with data security standards, particularly in the AWS environment.
- Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and scalability.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Ab Initio, including deep knowledge of the CAIP component.
- Proven experience in upgrading Ab Initio from earlier versions to newer versions.
- Strong expertise in cloud migration, particularly migrating on-premises applications to AWS.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation within AWS environments.
- Ability to manage and lead a technical team in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
