Job Role: Hyperion Financial Close SME 

Location: Remote, Louisville KY

Contracting Tenure: 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

·  HFM Implementation and Configuration:

o Lead the design, configuration, and testing of HFM applications to meet specific business requirements.

o Develop and maintain HFM data flows, calculations, and security rules.

o Configure HFM to integrate with other financial systems, such as ERP and other planning applications.

·  HFM Support and Maintenance:

o Provide ongoing support and maintenance for HFM applications, including troubleshooting issues and resolving user queries.

o Perform system upgrades and patches to ensure optimal performance and security.

o Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.

·  Financial Process Expertise:

o Possess a strong understanding of financial processes, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.

o Collaborate with finance teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

·  Data Migration and Integration:

o Lead data migration activities from legacy systems to HFM.

o Design and implement data integration solutions to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

·  Training and Knowledge Transfer:

o Conduct training sessions for end-users on HFM functionalities and best practices.

o Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge base.

Required Qualifications:

·  Technical Skills:

o Proficient in HFM application design, configuration, and administration.

o Strong understanding of financial data models, calculations, and reporting.

o Experience with data integration techniques and tools.

o Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, SQL) for customization and automation.

·  Functional Skills:

o Deep understanding of financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Cloud Experience: Experience with Oracle Financial Close Cloud (FCCS) and other cloud-based EPM solutions.

o Experience in delivering at least two (2) full life-cycle implementations using Hyperion HFM

o Experience in delivering at least one (1) full life-cycle implementation using Oracle Financial Close Cloud (FCCS) and that includes Close Manager

·  Industry Expertise: Knowledge of specific industry standards and regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

·  Project Management: Experience managing projects and leading cross-functional teams.

Certification: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in EPM Cloud or other relevant certifications
