We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Fusion Application Administrator to join the IT Enterprise Systems team. As an Oracle Fusion Application Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our organization’s Oracle Fusion applications environment. This role involves ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of the Oracle Fusion applications suite, including deployments, configuration, troubleshooting, patching, and upgrades. This role will provide technical guidance to team members in managing Oracle Fusion Cloud instance configurations and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle Fusion architecture, strong technical proficiency, and excellent problem-solving skills.
Application Administrator Responsibilities:
· Applications Administration: Manage, configure, and maintain the Oracle Fusion applications environment, including but not limited to Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle HCM Cloud, Oracle EPM, Oracle CX Cloud, and Oracle SCM Cloud.
· System Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning measures to ensure optimal performance of Oracle Fusion applications.
· Patch Management and Upgrades: Plan and execute patching and upgrade activities for Oracle Fusion applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and adherence to best practices. Develop KPIs/Metrics Reports and Dashboards. Monitor service detail and service notifications related to patching/critical updates/downtime.
· Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data within the Oracle Fusion applications environment. This includes user access management, role-based access control, and security configuration. Design and update user security and roles within Oracle Fusion Cloud Security.
· Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for Oracle Fusion applications to ensure business continuity, data integrity and disaster recovery readiness to drive Cloud reliability, integrity, and recoverability.
· Instance Management: Assist technical team members in managing Oracle Fusion Cloud instance configurations and enterprise applications.
· Integration and Interfaces: Configure and manage integrations and interfaces between Oracle Fusion applications and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
· Communication & Collaboration: Partner with Security, Network, Development and Product Teams to identify issues, driving issue resolution. Work with architects, developers, business users, and leads to ensure deliverables are aligned with desired business processes and design standards.
· Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members as needed.
· Vendor Management: Liaise with Oracle support and other third-party vendors to resolve issues, escalate support tickets, and stay informed about product updates and best practices. Communicate environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages.
· Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies governing the use of Oracle Fusion applications. Determines operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements.
Application Administrator Qualifications and Skills
• In-depth understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud, experience in ERP implementations, and a team player and leader that is reliable, enthusiastic, committed, creative, and customer focused.
• Solid understanding of Oracle Fusion security concepts and best practices.
• Strong business acumen/experience and deep IT knowledge.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Desire to teach and mentor other engineers with varying domains of expertise.
• Demonstrated initiative to stay current on technology advancements.
• Strong collaboration skills to focus on a diverse palette of technical and operational work in a continuously evolving environment.
Education and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of overall ERP Administration Experience.
• 3+ years of experience administering Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM & HCM
• Experience in at least one implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP).
• Experience in leading full Oracle Cloud ERP Implementation projects involving Requirements, Design, Testing and Roll-out.
• Comfortable with Oracle Fusion data dictionary and the relationship between various objects, to quickly understand requirements and design solutions.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is mandatory.
• Oracle certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator Associate or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect Associate are a plus.
• Advanced skills in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
