Role- Senior Database Specialist (production env)
Location- Locals/Driving distance to Richardson, TX (Preferred) or Chicago, IL ONLY
Duration- 12+ months ONSITE Contract position (5 days onsite is a MUST from day 1)
Visa- No H1B, OPT, CPT
Skills/Experience needed:
- BS Degree with excellent communications skills
- 10+ years of experience as Database Specialist and Automation in production env.
- Experience with Install, deploy and configure Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance and related technologies in a production environment
- Expert level experience with Harness, Ansible, Terraform
- Support production Database Administrators to understand the Azure PaaS options and setup using best practices
- Experience working with automation engineers and provide database options to setup infrastructure as code for provisioning
- Disaster Recovery setup
- Experience with azure networking and security
