Role Overview:
As a .NET Developer, you will enhance software solutions for Research Support Specialists by automating data tasks and integrating systems via APIs. You’ll also provide consulting on software engineering and assist with software support during peak seasons.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy software tools, including documentation and training materials.
- Perform UAT, smoke testing, and troubleshoot proprietary research software.
- Support Tier 2 troubleshooting and document resolutions in Jira.
- Update knowledgebase articles and ensure efficient user workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficient in MS Office and SQL scripting.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Key Technologies & Skills:
- Visual .NET: Experience with Visual Studio for .NET application development.
- C#: Strong knowledge and experience writing clean, efficient code.
- APIs: Experience querying and integrating with APIs, including Azure OpenAI.
- JSON/OData: Proficiency in working with JSON and OData services.
- Azure DevOps: Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
- Communication: Clear documentation and technical process communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with AI and Machine Learning concepts.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
