Location: Local to NY, NJ, or CT, needs to be at client site for 3 days a week.

Duration of the Project: 2 years

Role Description: 
Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Recruitment (External/Internal), and Onboarding processes.
Conduct end-to-end testing of PeopleSoft HCM functionalities, including data validation, system integration, and support user acceptance testing.
Conduct thorough QA testing and generate detailed reports on test results, defects, and risks.
Utilize project management tools like ALM, Jira, and ClickUp for effective test planning, execution, and tracking.
Having Automation testing experience on Selenium w Java will be a good to have.
 
Qualifications:
5-7 years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Core HCM modules (HR, Benefits, Payroll).
Strong understanding of end-to-end testing processes for HR, Recruitment, and Benefits.
Experience with SDLC methodologies and QA best practices.
Proficiency in automated testing tools (Selenium or UiPath preferred).
Expertise in using project management tools (ALM, Jira, Click Up).
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
 
Based on the feedback provided, the client is looking for a PeopleSoft HCM – QA Engineer with strong knowledge in the following areas:
PeopleSoft HCM Data Model & Tables:
Understanding of key tables related to Position Management, such as the table that stores data when a new position is created.
Familiarity with HRS_JOB_OPENING and PONS_STATUS codes.
Recruiting & Hiring Process in PeopleSoft HCM:
Understanding of the end-to-end hiring process in PeopleSoft.
Knowledge of job posting statuses and when a job is published on internal/external websites.
Template Hire Status Page:
Ability to list and explain all available statuses on the Template Hire Status page.
Understanding of how status transitions impact the hiring process.
PeopleSoft Functional Knowledge:
Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Recruitment and Position Management modules.
Awareness of how data flows between different modules in HCM.
Testing & Validation in PeopleSoft HCM:
Ability to validate data correctness and process flow in recruitment and hiring workflows.
Strong SQL skills to query the necessary tables and validate the expected outcomes.
To be a strong fit for the role, the candidate should have in-depth functional and technical knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM, particularly in Position Management, Recruiting Solutions, and Job Posting workflows. Strength in data validation, system testing, and understanding PeopleSoft tables is essential.
