Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Back end ETL Automation Tester with a strong background in healthcare systems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in back-end testing, ETL testing, and automation, with a preference for local candidates. This role requires expertise in SQL, MongoDB, Selenium, Jenkins, and Java, along with prior experience working in an Agile environment. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable participating in Agile ceremonies.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing & Automation (40%)

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
• Perform ETL testing with strong SQL to validate data transformations and migrations.
• Conduct back-end testing, including database validations and API testing.
• Work on MongoDB migration from DB2.
• Utilize Selenium and Jenkins for automation testing.
• Ensure test coverage across claims processing, enrollments, and accumulators.

Defect Management & Reporting (35%)

• Identify, analyze, and report software defects through a structured defect tracking process.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Conduct GLIDER SQL assessments as part of the hiring process.
• Provide weekly status updates on testing progress and potential risks.

Agile Collaboration & Continuous Improvement (25%)

• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Create and update user stories, write defects, and actively contribute to process improvements.
• Engage in continuous learning through training, workshops, and research.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure business requirements are met.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Must-Have:

• 7+ years of experience in software testing, specifically in ETL, back-end, and automation testing.
• Healthcare industry experience is mandatory.
• Strong expertise in SQL for ETL testing.
• Experience with MongoDB or DB2.
• Hands-on experience in Selenium, Jenkins, and Java.
• Prior experience in API testing.
• Ability to write and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including user stories and defect management.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Published Data Views (PDV).
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Client ALM, Bugzilla).
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
