| Sr. Azure Developer | [Richmond, VA, 23219] | The Virginia Department of Elections (ELECT) is seeking an Senior Azure Developer with minimum 6 years experience to work with an existing software development team. You will be working with our more established contractorsand staff to focus on several web and Windows applications used both byinternal ELECT staff and constituents of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Thecandidate will need expertise as a programmer and designer for Cloud Services.Experience implementing and developing applications to interface with ServiceOriented Architecture (SOA) and other offerings from the major Cloud ServiceProviders required. Responsible for analysis, design, and coding for a newapplication. Individual must be able to work without assistance, provideleadership for others, and manage highly complex work efforts. Extensive industry experience is required withadvanced education highly desireable. Will be involved in maintenance,enhancement and development work. The candidate will need a range of skills andknowledge of the technologies used and applications supported by theApplication Team. Works with the Business Analyst, Application Architect andother Application Development Team members on an as-needed basis to ensure thatdesign and code meets customer requirements. may also need to work with SaaSand Cloud service providers. Candidate will need to be comfortable working with C#, .NETFramework & Core, MVC & WebForms, Web Services; SQL, Git SCM, andJavascript. Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Application security willhelp you stand out in this position. ELECT uses mobile and responsive design practices, so afamiliarity with these methodologies would be a plus. Required/Desired Skills
