Job Description:
This is a hybrid opportunity, with 3 days required onsite per week in Washington, DC.
Position Overview
As an Oracle Integration Cloud Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integrations between Oracle SaaS and third-party applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). Your role will include handling day-to-day operations, developing solutions, and ensuring seamless integration across cloud and hybrid environments. You will work closely with business and IT teams to design, implement, and support end-to-end integrations that optimize business processes.
Responsibilities
· Support day-to-day operations, including help desk issues and end-user support for Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
· Design, develop, and test integrations on OIC using file-based, REST, and SOAP adapters.
· Develop and deliver integrations between Oracle SaaS applications and third-party applications via OIC.
· Perform unit testing, performance tuning, and implementation of real-time and batch integrations.
· Conceptualize technical design options, identify the best option, and complete technical design specifications.
· Design and develop Webservices/APIs for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid solutions using OIC.
· Build error handling, auditing, scheduling, deployment, and monitoring/alerting capabilities in OIC/ICS.
· Support end-to-end testing of integrations, ensuring robust functionality and performance.
· Utilize OIC features such as mapping, lookups, connections, XSLT, agents, and packages for integrations.
Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or 10 years of experience in the software field.
· At least 7 years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications.
· 7+ years of experience developing integrations using Oracle SOA, OIC, and other middleware suites.
· End-to-end Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) implementation experience with at least one Oracle SaaS/PaaS/IaaS project.
· 3+ years of hands-on development and administration experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Visual Builder Cloud Services (VBCS) in a SaaS environment.
· 7+ years of experience interfacing between Oracle Cloud or ERP and third-party systems.
· Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) preferred.
· 3+ years of experience working with Oracle SaaS modules, including procurement, financials, and/or projects.
· Expertise in leveraging pre-built integrations, cloud adapters, connections, and SaaS applications in solutions.
· 3+ years of experience working with REST, APIs, SOAP, FBDI, PL/SQL, and Oracle Cloud-delivered Web Services.
· Hands-on development experience with Oracle Database Cloud Services (DBCS) and Managed File Transfer (MFT).
· Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is a plus.
Preferred Experience
· Experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
· Knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is highly preferred.
