Job Title: SAP Vertex Consultant 10+yr

Location: Austin, TX or Cupertino ,CA (5 Days Onsite)

Duration: Contract Position

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Vertex O Series integrated with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA).
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications related to tax automation.
• Configure tax settings within SAP (Tax Procedure, Jurisdiction Codes, Tax Codes).
• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration with Vertex.
• Manage the Vertex tax engine configuration and updates, including tax rules and product mappings.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot tax calculation issues, and coordinate resolution with Vertex support if needed.
• Conduct system testing, user training, and change management.
• Ensure compliance with global indirect tax requirements (sales tax, use tax, VAT, etc.).
• Document solutions and maintain proper system documentation and configuration guides.
