Job Title: Linux Engineer
Location: Phoenix, Arizona (Day 1 Onsite)
Long term Contract role
Need 10+ years exp.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Linux-based backend systems.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot on-prem Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement and maintain observability tools for infrastructure monitoring.
- Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Python, or Shell scripting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational stability.
Must Have Skills:
- Advanced Linux system administration experience (system admin-level expertise).
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (all systems are on-prem).
- In-depth knowledge of Ansible automation, Python, or Shell scripting.
Good to Have:
- Experience with observability tools such as Kibana, Splunk, Grafana, or Dynatrace.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub, or others.
