Job Description:
Skills Required:

• 6+ years of experience on DevOps with expertise in

1. Building and managing CI/CD pipeline – gatekeeping production deployments, develop and implement GIT branching strategies, branch protection rules, network policies, scale up/ scale down the load on AWS.
2. KAFKA administration, able to plan and implement KAFKA migrations.
3. Automation, Monitoring, Alerting, quick resolution/workaround to avoid application downtime.

• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Solve performance issues and scalability issues in the system.
• Ability to coordinate and work with various cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.

Technical Skills:

1. DevOps and SRE
2. CI/CD – Gatekeeping Production deployments, develop GIT branching strategies, network policies, and scale up/ scale down the load on AWS.
3. AWS Kubernetes, Docker
4. KAFKA – basics of KAFKA, administration, Migrations 
5. Programming/Scripting using Python or Spark
6. Database – Vertica, Snowflake
