Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Tableau Designer with extensive experience in creating visually compelling and user-friendly dashboards and reports. This role requires a strong background in data visualization, user-centric design, and business intelligence best practices. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise and design thinking, ensuring that Tableau solutions meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards that are both visually appealing and user-friendly.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions.
Apply design principles to ensure dashboards are intuitive, consistent, and meet business objectives.
Optimize dashboards for performance and usability.
Mentor and guide junior Tableau developers on best practices and design standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in data visualization, with at least 5 years focusing on Tableau.
Proven track record of building highly effective and user-centric Tableau dashboards and reports.
Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, layout, and UX/UI best practices.
Ability to work collaboratively with business and technical teams.
Excellent communication skills to gather requirements and present solutions.
Must be willing to work onsite in San Jose at least 3 days a week.
