This is Rajat and I represent LanceSoft ,a leading IT staffing organization. I am part of a team responsible for servicing the major clients of ours those are the world leaders in providing their specific services/solutions.

Position: Unix Admin

Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite)

Job description:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field.

• Expertise in IaC Terraform, Ansible

• Expertise in Cloud DevOps CI/CD Pipelines

• Any experience in VSI Migration to Cloud would be an added advantage.

• Should have basic scripting knowledge

• Previous experience as a UNIX system administrator or Wintel Administration. (Having knowledge on both preferable)

• Knowledge of UNIX and Windows operating systems, storage environments, file systems, and network protocols.

• Detailed knowledge of UNIX principles, file editing, UNIX commands, and file manipulation.

• Knowledge of networking principles including routing, subnets, TCP, IP, VLANs, and UDP.

• Understanding of backup procedures and storage management.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Should have strong leadership skills, communicate with the application teams to understand, and document the new infrastructure requirements.

• Perform quality checks and peer reviews.

• Should work in Onshore-Offshore model.
