Senior ServiceNow ITSM & FSO Developer
Location: Stamford, CT
Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities:
• Platform Architecture & Development:
o Design, develop, test, and deploy customized ServiceNow solutions tailored to ITSM and FSO environments.
o Transform business requirements into scalable digital workflows that improve operational performance.
• Custom Scripting & Process Automation:
o Develop and maintain UI policies, client scripts, script includes, and business rules to enhance user interaction and enforce data integrity.
o Leverage Flow Designer and legacy Workflow modules to automate complex processes, reduce manual load, and drive process excellence.
• Integration & API Management:
o Build robust integrations connecting ServiceNow with external applications via REST API and scripted REST APIs, ensuring seamless data interchange with ERP, CRM, CMDB, and other enterprise systems.
o Configure custom Workspaces that aggregate insights through performance analytics and streamlined dashboards.
• FSO-Specific Developments:
o Implement and optimize financial services operations modules, including dispute and case management functionalities, to support compliance and risk management.
o Customize dashboards and analytic reports to provide financial operations with real-time performance monitoring and actionable insights.
• Collaboration & Best Practices:
o Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver tailored solutions that align with ITIL best practices as well as industry-specific financial workflows.
o Document changes, adhere to coding standards, and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Experience:
o 8–10 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, with a strong emphasis on ITSM modules and Financial Services Operations.
o Demonstrable track record of developing end-to-end ITSM solutions including incident, problem, change, and service request management workflows.
• Technical Skills:
o Expertise in JavaScript and experience executing both server-side and client-side scripting within ServiceNow (UI policies, client scripts, script includes, business rules).
o In-depth proficiency with Flow Designer, legacy Workflow modules, REST API development, and scripted REST APIs.
o Proven experience in designing and managing ServiceNow Workspaces and creating performance analytics dashboards.
• Certifications:
o ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer, or Implementation Specialist are highly desirable.
• Soft Skills:
o Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong aptitude for collaborative, agile environments.
o Ability to work autonomously and lead projects from concept through implementation.
