Job Description:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
Over 12 years of experience in data architecture and engineering, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to Cloud Data Platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform
Extensive knowledge of Google Cloud Data Platform, including data modeling, optimization, and management for data warehousing on GCP BigQuery and associated technologies
Expertise in creating scalable data architectures, database design, and data warehousing solutions
Spearhead the design and deployment of multi-cloud solutions utilizing GCP and BigQuery
Proficient in advanced SQL and familiar with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development
Design and build complex data ingestion pipelines, data transformations, and real-time streaming engines leveraging distributed and event-driven serverless compute platform and application architectures
Enhance data storage and query performance using GCP and other cloud databases
Implement best practices, data security, and governance within cloud platforms
Guide and lead teams in DevOps transformation and agile methodologies
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and performance tuning skills for large-scale data environments
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with data science teams and customer stakeholders
Experience in Telecom Domain and Relevant certifications in cloud platforms are highly preferred
Top 3 responsibilities:
- Data Migration Lead the migration of various databases like Oracle to GCP, ensuring data integrity.
- ETL Development Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IICS to extract, transform, and load data from various sources to GCP.
- GCP Expertise Utilize GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer to build and optimize data pipelines.
