Position : Fortran Developer
Experience Required: Minimum 6 to 9
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Essential Skills:
- Very good Fortran experience in the past or in the current projects.
- Strong relational database knowledge and experience using SQL, PLSQL. (Ctree, Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, etc.), including data analysis and data modelling
- Proficiency with interpreted languages programming languages like JavaScript, Perl, Shell Script
- Experience with YAML for configuration management
- Experience working with a version control system such as GIT or Subversion
- Strong knowledge on Object Oriented analysis and common design patterns
- Experience in designing and developing applications using enterprise scale Java applications
- Experience in implementing micro services, REST API, SOAP based integrations, implementation of messaging queue framework.
- Knowledge of Relational and NOSQL Databases, preferably MongoDB
- Experience with unit and integration testing
- Understanding of batch application and modernizing into micro services
- Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies in particular.
- Strong logical, analytical, and design skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-Starter and Independent
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in Financial domain especially in Capital Markets Private Banking
- Experience in Python and libraries such as Pandas
- Experience on frameworks like Hibernate & Kafka messaging
- Experience with data cubes (such as Pandas) and data visualization platforms (such as Tableau or Grafana)
