Experience with RBDMS
CCBA/ CBAP or similar certifications preferred
Experience in Oil and Gas industry not Required
Job Description
This role involves analyzing and documenting multiple related projects, including SaaS/COTS implementations, mainframe data migration, and building a Data Warehouse. The position ensures all deliverables follow established processes and quality standards using recognized business analysis methods. The role may also assign or supervise work. Works with limited supervision and significant independent judgment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of business analysis experience on software development projects, including creating project documentation.
10+ years of strong interpersonal, analytical, written, verbal, and presentation skills; proficient with MS Office and prototyping tools (Visio, SnagIt, Adobe Illustrator, Axure).
10+ years hands-on experience with requirements gathering, client management, traceability, use cases, prototyping, and data modeling.
10+ years facilitating sessions with business and cross-functional teams.
10+ years analyzing Production Support issues, performing root-cause analysis, and documenting system/data fixes.
10+ years understanding business drivers and helping clients identify and resolve business problems.
10+ years developing design documents and process diagrams.
10+ years facilitating analysis of business/functional requirements and creating technology specifications.
10+ years defining functional design, system specs, and completing documentation packages.
Experience supporting UAT, training, and implementation activities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with: Mainframe, COBOL, SQL, Azure DevOps, Visio, Data Warehouse/Data Lake, SSIS, ETL, Snowflake.
Experience with RBDMS (COTS product).
Experience in process improvement and change management.
Oil & Gas industry experience or compliance/enforcement projects.
Strong team collaboration and conflict-resolution skills.
Bachelor’s degree in CS, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
CCBA/CBAP or similar certification.
