Required Skills:
Hands-on experience with Xray test management and Jira
Strong SQL skills (CRUD operations)
Experience writing and executing test automation using UFT
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming must
Experience working with the State of Texas HHS agency and system preferred

Job Description
The QA Automation Analyst will design and create automated test scripts, determine testing priorities, and build execution plans. The role involves documenting automated processes, preparing UAT test cases based on business requirements, conducting walkthroughs with stakeholders, tracking execution progress, and reporting results.

The analyst will log and track defects in Jira, maintain requirements traceability matrices, and work closely with development teams across dev, test, and UAT environments. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is required.

Required Skills & Experience (8+ Years)
Writing and executing test cases and test plans
Strong knowledge of software usability, traceability, and full SDLC
Hands-on experience with Xray test management and Jira
Strong SQL skills (CRUD operations)
Experience writing and executing test automation using UFT
Experience with API testing and automation using Postman, SOAPUI, JMeter, or similar
Experience with various testing types: unit, integration, regression, smoke, UAT, system, stress, performance
Ability to organize, present, and document complex technical information
Ability to work independently and within Agile sprint teams
Strong communication and defect-tracking skills
Preferred Skills (5+ Years)
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming
Experience with accessibility testing tools and compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards
Experience working with Texas HHS agencies or systems
