Job Title: Test Architect
Location:- San Mateo, CA Hybrid 3 days onsite
Contract:- 12 month
Role Summary
The Test Architect defines and governs the overall testing strategy and architecture, enabling high-quality, scalable, and automated software delivery through modern quality engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
Define enterprise-level test architecture, strategy, and standards
Design and maintain automation frameworks (UI, API, microservices)
Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines (shift-left/shift-right)
Drive non-functional testing (performance, security, resilience)
Select and standardize testing tools and best practices
Mentor QA teams and provide technical leadership
Collaborate with Dev, DevOps, and Architecture teams
Required Skills
AI-driven test automation and self-healing scripts
Contract, model-based, and API testing (REST, GraphQL, Kafka)
Cloud-native testing (AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes)
Performance engineering and chaos testing
DevSecOps and security testing (OWASP, SAST/DAST)
Data, ETL, and Big Data testing
Certified ISTQB Advanced Test Architect / Test Manager (must)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science
12+ years in Quality Engineering; 4+ years in Test Architecture
