Position Overview
seeking a Senior Appian Certified Developer with Level 2 Certification to design, develop, and deploy enterprise business applications using the Appian low-code platform. The ideal Candidate will possess strong experience in SAIL interface development, process modeling, API integrations, and Agile delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Appian applications using SAIL and Process Models
Configure business rules, reports, and integrations within Appian
Develop and maintain integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs
Optimize user interface performance and ensure responsive design
Write and execute unit and integration test cases
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure quality delivery
Maintain technical documentation and deployment artifacts
Support production deployments and post-implementation activities
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience working in Agile methodology environments
Minimum 8 years of strong design, development, and analytical experience
Minimum 8 years of demonstrated communication and teamwork skills
Minimum 3 years holding an Appian Level 2 Senior Developer Certification
Proven experience developing applications on Appian or similar low-code platforms
Experience designing scalable, secure enterprise applications
Strong understanding of SDLC processes
Preferred Skills & Experience
3+ years of hands-on Appian or low-code platform development
2+ years of experience with GAMS (Government Acquisition Management Suite)
Experience working in Texas state agency environments
Knowledge of application performance tuning and optimization
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
Equivalent work experience may substitute for degree (High School Diploma required)
