We are seeking a Cloud Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure-by-default architectures across cloud-native, microservices, and AI-enabled systems. The role involves ensuring compliance with state and federal frameworks while supporting modernization initiatives.
Required Skills:
8+ years of experience in Information Security & Systems Architecture
Strong experience in Cloud Security (AWS preferred)
Expertise in Texas Cybersecurity Framework (TCF) & NIST 800-53
Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust Architecture
Threat Modeling for complex systems
Security for microservices, APIs, and containerized environments
Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools
DevSecOps integration
Preferred Skills:
Experience with AI/LLM security
Data protection (PII, PHI, sensitive data)
Risk assessment presentations to leadership
Security policies & architecture standards
Certifications: CISSP, CISM, AWS Security
