Must have skill set: Python, REST API, TDD, no-SQL,AWS Lambda, SNS/SQS, Terraform, API Gateway, ReactJS
About the Role
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with expertise in Python and React to support digital transformation initiatives within the banking sector. This role requires experience building secure, scalable applications in highly regulated environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and build RESTful APIs using Python
- Develop modern front-end applications using React
- Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) best practices
- Work with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB
- Build serverless applications using AWS (Lambda, API Gateway)
- Implement messaging solutions using SNS/SQS
- Provision infrastructure using Terraform
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (preferred)
- 4+ years of hands-on development experience
- Prior experience in banking or financial services
- Experience working onsite with clients/stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of cloud security and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2)
- Experience with DevOps pipelines and automation
