Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to design, implement, and operate scalable, secure, and highly reliable cloud environments. This role focuses on cloud infrastructure, production operations, and system reliability, ensuring AWS platforms are optimized for performance, availability, and cost.

Key Responsibilities
•       Design and implement AWS infrastructure across networking, compute, storage, and security. 

•       Architect highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant solutions (multi-AZ / multi-region). 

•       Define and manage multi-account environments using AWS Organizations and governance best practices. 

•       Design VPC architecture, subnetting, routing, and hybrid connectivity (VPN, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway). 

•       Implement and enforce security best practices (IAM, encryption, monitoring, compliance). 

•       Own production reliability, including incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA). 

•       Implement monitoring and observability solutions (CloudWatch, etc.) to improve system visibility. 

•       Optimize cost, performance, and resource utilization. 

•       Provide technical guidance to engineering teams on cloud infrastructure and best practices. 

Required Skills
•       Strong AWS expertise: VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, Load Balancers. 

•       Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity management. 

•       Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability design. 

•       Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation). 

•       Experience with monitoring, alerting, and production support. 

•       Working knowledge of CI/CD and automation. 

Preferred Qualifications
•       12+ years in infrastructure / cloud engineering 

•       7+ years in AWS architecture (infra-heavy roles preferred) 

•       Experience operating large-scale production environments 

•       AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
