 1)This role requires onsite presence 4–5 days per week

Job Description:
The selected candidate will be part of a larger team onboarding hundreds of systems and data sources into Splunk to improve operational efficiency. Data sources include network, cloud, server, and application logs.

The candidate must have strong hands-on experience with Splunk for operational monitoring, troubleshooting, dashboards, alerting workflows, and reliable log onboarding/validation.

Required Skills:
8+ years hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise and/or Splunk Cloud
Advanced SPL (Search Processing Language)
Efficient and optimized searches
stats, timechart, eval, lookup, transaction, data model commands
Search performance tuning at scale
Data onboarding and validation
Source type design
Field extraction (Regex, props.conf, transforms.conf)
Timestamp recognition & line breaking
Index design and strategy
Splunk Technology Add-ons (TAs)
CIM mapping
Dashboard design and alert optimization
KPI-driven visualizations
Real-time and scheduled alerts
Threshold / anomaly-based detections
Alert suppression & tuning
Strong communication and workshop leadership skills
Preferred Skills:
Cloud-native log sources
Security tools (EDR, IAM, Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
Splunk Cloud FedRAMP
Splunk Certifications (Architect, Admin, Consultant)
