PMP (Project Management Professional) certification

 Job Description:
The resource will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating project activities, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams. This role ensures successful delivery of projects by maintaining alignment with the client objectives, governance standards, and established project management methodologies.
 

Required Experience
8+ years managing large-scale, complex IT or business transformation projects
Strong knowledge of PMI/PMBOK, Agile, and Hybrid project methodologies
Experience with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
Expertise in stakeholder management, risk management, issue tracking, and change control
Executive-level communication and reporting skills
Hands-on experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar tools
Experience ensuring compliance with governance, procurement, and organizational policies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Texas State Government/Public Sector, preferably Public Safety or Law Enforcement
Experience with FAST, DIR, or similar state procurement frameworks
PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
Experience managing IT system implementations, enterprise applications, or data systems
