Position: Snowflake Data Engineer / Database Developer
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid

Required Skills
- Strong database development experience
- Hands-on Snowflake – Mandatory
- KDB+ to Snowflake migration experience
- Strong SQL skills
- Sybase and Python
- Database migration project experience
- Database performance tuning & query optimization
Must-Have
- Financial Services / Trading database experience
- Capital Markets or Investment Banking experience
- Production support experience
- Linux/Unix experience
- Agile environment experience
Day-to-Day
- Develop, maintain, and optimize databases supporting financial trading applications
- Migrate data and database objects from KDB+ to Snowflake
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries
- Perform database performance tuning and optimization
- Troubleshoot production database and data pipeline issues
- Support applications using Sybase and other database technologies
