MUST-HAVE SKILLS
• strong knowledge & experience of Database Management Systems, Data Warehousing & Decision Support Tools
• Data Warehouse & Data Mart development, implementation and maintenance
• Business Objects and Data Dictionary development/maintenance
• Database access tools for application delivery
• Strong database analysis, planning and management reporting experience
• Data Warehousing data population and Data Modeling
• Star Schema, Snowflake Schema and highly normalized data models
• GUI-based ETL tools such as Informatica, IBM WebSphere DataStage or similar
• Enterprise database experience – Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server or similar
• Analytical and reporting tools – Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy or similar
• End-to-end Data Warehouse implementation experience including:
Business requirements
Logical modeling
Physical database design
Data sourcing & transformation
Data loading
SQL
End-user tools
• Database performance monitoring, benchmarking & threshold testing
• Database security, backup, recovery and disaster recovery procedures
• Data integrity, redundancy control and database maintenance
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams and manage multiple responsibilities
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Oracle Database experience
• Power BI Report Creation
