Must have  one or more industry certifications, such as CISSP or CISM.
Experience working with State Government agencies
Job Description:
Performs highly advanced (senior-level) information security work providing leadership and strategic direction for the agency’s information security, risk management, governance, and compliance programs. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and overseeing enterprise-wide security policies, standards, controls, risk assessments, and security strategies; ensuring compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, and industry standards; and protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of agency information assets. Serves as the agency’s principal information security advisor and works collaboratively with agency leadership, courts, business units, and technology teams to manage risk and support organizational objectives. Works under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for initiative, independent judgment, and decision-making authority

Key Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise information security, risk management, governance, and compliance programs.
Develop and implement security policies, standards, controls, and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
Lead security initiatives, audits, remediation, and cross-functional teams.
Advise agency leadership on cybersecurity risks and security strategies.
