AIML Architect – Healthcare
Palo Alto, CA – Hybrid
Long term Contract
Role Description:
- Design and architect integration solutions for bringing together disparate systems, applications, and data sources to achieve seamless interoperability.
- Break down large-scale project requirements into manageable epics and user stories, collaborating closely with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize and define feature sets.
- Develop architectural designs and technical specifications for integrating ancillary applications with primary systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of integration solutions, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support throughout the development lifecycle.
- Evaluate and select appropriate integration patterns, technologies, and tools based on project requirements, industry best practices, and emerging trends.
- Define and enforce architectural standards, design principles, and coding guidelines to ensure consistency, reliability, and maintainability across integrated systems.
- Conduct performance tuning, scalability assessments, and security reviews of integration solutions to optimize efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to design and implement robust infrastructure solutions that support seamless integration and high availability of applications.
- Stay abreast of advancements in integration technologies, methodologies, and industry standards, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on integration architecture, epics, and ancillary applications, providing guidance and thought leadership to internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with project & data architecture or integration architect, with a strong focus on designing and implementing complex integration solutions in healthcare domain
- Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD, Terraform
- Good experience in data science along with AI/ML activities (Databricks, Python, MLflow)
- Knowledge of healthcare data, api endpoints/context
- Knowledge of prediction implications within workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and architectural designs.
- Good experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
